Loved talking about this book on our Podcast!

I love how this story because it highlights all of the adventurous & amazing things main character Maya can do, including how being deaf is her super power! She dreams big in this inspiring story, and educates about using American Sign Language to tackle life's obstacles every kid her age faces.

FAVORITE ASPECT: I love how some common ASL signs and the alphabet is included in the back for those new to the language

Thanks to Shay for creating such an inclusive and educational book to both the hearing and non-hearing community!
